Huawei ensures 24/7 network & provides humanitarian aid to Jajarkot earthquake victims

KATHMANDU: As a responsible business entity, Huawei, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Digital Empowerment Society, delivered vital goods such as tents, blankets, and sleeping bags to earthquake victims in Jajarkot and Rukum West.

The relief items were given out to Minister Rekha Sharma at the Ministry’s office Singha Durbar in the presence of Huawei Nepal CEO Huang Jun, PR Director Zhang Liang, and the Digital Empowerment Society.

Huawei feels that these relief supplies are critical in offering immediate help and comfort to individuals impacted by the tragedy, as well as meeting their basic requirements and providing some relief during difficult times.

Huawei Nepal recognizes the critical need of communication in times of distress. Huawei stated that it is committed to providing network services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to sustain telecommunications installations in earthquake-affected areas. Huawei has promptly sent a technical team to maintain telecommunications services in earthquake-affected areas.
