Int’l Trade Fair begins at Bhrikuti Mandap (photos)

KATHMANDU: The Nepal International Trade Fair, which is held yearly by the Federation of Nepal Industries and Commerce, began today at Bhrikuti Mandap.

China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and other nations will take part in the expo, which will be held from Mangsir 14 to 18 (Nov 30 to Dec 4) following the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Nepali Youth Entrepreneurs Forum has a ‘Made in Nepal’ pavilion at the event, as does the Shoe Manufacturers Association, which has 40 exhibitors.

There are 55 stalls from China, 30 stalls from India, 8 each from Bangladesh and Pakistan.

A total of 210 stalls will be used to display local and international goods and services at the fair.

The Chinese ambassador to Nepal has also observed the exhibition.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Dev Raj Ghimire inaugurated a program on Mangsir 14 (Nov 30) of the fair.
