Scorpio driven by SP hit the bike, death of 18-year-old Anil
Anil Mardi, 18, of Kamal-6, died on his motorcycle after being hit by a Scorpio on the east-west route near Biring Pul, Kankai Municipality-8.
KATHMANDU: A teen from Jhapa’s Kamal Rural Municipality-6 was killed in a Scorpio driven by a Nepal Police Superintendent of Police (SP) collided with a motorcycle.
Anil Mardi, 18, of Kamal-6, died on his motorcycle after being hit by a Scorpio on the east-west route near Biring Pul, Kankai Municipality-8.
Khagendra Prasad Rijal, spokesperson for the District Police Office Jhapa, said that the accident on Friday night injured 19-year-old Khagendra Tajpuria of Kamal-6 and 18-year-old Pujan Rajbanshi of the same location.
A Scorpio with the license plate number May 1 Ch 7839 traveling west from east collided with a motorcycle with the license plate number May 10 P 1669 traveling in the opposite direction.
He stated that the Scorpio and its driver, Bhim Bahadur Dahal, a 51-year-old superintendent of police with the Nepal Police Office in Dharan, were apprehended.
