Advance ticket booking for Dashain-Tihar to open from Oct 9 at existing rates

KATHMANDU: Following a comprehensive all-party discussion convened at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport last Friday, it has been decided to initiate advance ticket booking for the upcoming Dashain and Tihar festivals starting on Oct 9.

Uddhav Prasad Rijal, the Director-General of the Transport Management Department, confirmed that advance ticket bookings for Dashain will be made available at the prevailing fare rates.

Previously, there was a disagreement regarding fare increases, but in the recent ministry discussion, businessmen have reached a consensus to offer advance tickets at the existing rates.
