Poisonous mushroom deaths: 2 dies, one being treated

KATHMANDU: A brother and sister have died after eating poisonous mushrooms in Bajhang.

Angela Kathayat, 7, and Sudeep Kathayat, 12, of Jayaprithvi Municipality-6 Naura perished after consuming poisonous mushrooms, according to the District Police Office Bajhang.

In a family of five, the mother of the deceased who ate mushrooms is being treated.

A daughter and father survived as they were not at home.
