KATHMANDU: A buffalo has caused panic in Buddhanagar, Kathmandu.

The buffalo has been at Buddhanagar since the morning.

The police have been dispatched to catch the buffalo, according to the New Baneshwor police circle.

In the morning, a buffalo that had escaped from its rearing area was discovered stranded in Buddhanagar. It is unknown where the buffalo came from or who raised it.

The police are warning the residents that the buffalo may attack them. Shopkeepers appear to be on high alert, with half-closed shutters.

The buffalo fled and ended up in the hands of Buddhanagar’s Gyan Niketan School.

The technical team has been instructed to capture the buffalo from that location.

Previously, only one person was killed in a snake attack in Chandragiri Machhegun in Falgun 2075. Male buffalo, who murdered a man, was shot dead by police.
