NEA earned 12.33 billion profit in last financial year

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) made a profit of 12.33 billion rupees in the previous fiscal year.

This information was provided by Kulman Ghising, the authority’s executive director, at a press conference on Thursday.

According to him, the authority’s profit reached 12.33 billion in the previous fiscal year 079/80, according to the unrevised financial statement.

The authority made a profit of 6 billion 10 million rupees in the fiscal year 2077/78.

According to him, the authority’s third financial restructuring proposal is currently being produced, and the process of issuing Authority shares to the public has begun.
