Taxi drivers take to streets, demand action against red plate vehicles carrying passengers (photos)

KATHMANDU: Taxi drivers demonstrated against the two- and four-wheeled vehicles with red license plates that transport passengers.

They demonstrated in front of the Traffic Management Department at Min Bhawan in the morning.

More than 300 taxis were put on the road and slogans were chanted under the leadership of the Nepal National Meter Business Taxi Drivers Association.

They made a number of demands in their protest.
