KATHMANDU: Japan has won in the Women’s World Cup 2023 Group ‘C’. Japan scored an easy 4-0 win over Spain on Monday.

Both teams have already advanced to the competition’s last 16 after winning two consecutive matches. Japan won all of the group-stage competitions for the third time in a row.

Spain came in second place with six points. Zambia defeated Costa Rica 3-1 in another group match.

This is Zambia’s first win in the World Cup.
