36-year-old man held for rape charges

KATHMANDU: Punimal Luhar, 36, of Tajakot Rural Municipality-2, was detained by police on Thursday morning on a charge of raping a 25-year-old woman.

The Tajakot Chhaprela police station arrested Luhar based on a report that he had forced the woman in the sheep shed of the same rural municipality-1 Jiuchha.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
