Manang Air’s chopper found crashed
The helicopter was discovered wrecked colliding with a tree.

KAATHMANDU: The helicopter of Manang Air, which was missing since Tuesday morning, has been found crashed in Solukhumbu district on Tuesday afternoon.
The helicopter was discovered wrecked colliding with a tree. It is said that the bodies of 5 people were found with the helicopter. One is missing.
The helicopter was found in a crashed condition at the border of Likhu Pike Rural Municipality-5 and Dudhkund Municipality-2 in Solukhumbu at Lamajura Pass.
The helicopter has been reported missing since 10:01 am today. The chopper was en route to Kathmandu from Solukhumbu.

Manang Air’s 9NA-MV helicopter, which took off from Solukhumbu’s Surke helipad for Kathmandu at 10:10 in the morning, went missing 10 minutes after takeoff.
Captain Chet Bahadur Gurung was flying the helicopter and five Mexicans were on board.
The police have reached the accident site. Rescue operations are underway.
