Nepal facing Malaysia for the title

KATHMANDU: Nepal is batting after winning the toss against Malaysia in the ACC U-16 East Zone Cup final.

Today, Nepal made one alteration to the team. Nepal has handed Sagar Gaire a chance over Pratik Pokharel. The team’s other players have not altered. Nepal hopes to defeat Malaysia and win the championship for the third time in a row.

To reach the finals, Nepal defeated Singapore by 97 runs in the semi-finals, and Malaysia defeated Hong Kong by 78 runs.

Nepal advanced to the semi-finals by defeating Thailand by 225 runs and Malaysia by 84 runs in the group round. In the semi-final, Malaysia beat Thailand by 118 runs.
