KATHMANDU: Cesc Fabregas, a former Barcelona and Chelsea midfielder, has announced his retirement from football.

Fabregas, 36, has declared his retirement from football. He announced it on Twitter and stated that he has decided to retire from his 20-year football career.

Fabregas, a Spanish international, has also played professionally with Arsenal and Monaco.

In his career, he has won two Premier Leagues, two European Championships, the Champions League, and the World Cup.

He declared the end of his football career as well as his new location. He stated that he is eager to enhance his coaching profession.

‘I am feeling very sad that the time has come for me to retire from the game.’ He wrote.

‘I will decorate my first day in Barca, Arsenal, Barca, Chelsea, Monaco and Como.’ He said, ‘I will never forget the World Cup title, the Euro Cup title, all the titles in England and Spain and all the titles in Europe.’
