KATHMANDU: The Nepal Civil Aviation Authority seeks an explanation from Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Sah (Balen) on the unannounced cutting of fencing wire in the Tribhuvan International Airport area.
A crew from the metropolitan police department cut the fencing wire in that region, which is located in the 9th ward of the city.
Pradeep Adhikari, the authority’s director general, has requested clarification from officials, including the metropolitan’s chief.
