MG ZS EV (Deluxe) booking opens

KATHMANDU: Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd., authorized importer and distributor of MG vehicles in Nepal has made pre-booking price announcement for its new variant Electric SUV MG ZS EV (Deluxe) post the new budget announcement for FY2080/81.

Despite a significant increase in the tax rate for EVs from 50KW to 100KW, the company’s new price for the MG ZS EV (Deluxe) is just NPR 52.99 Lakh as opposed to the previous price of 52.49 Lakh.

MG, the renowned international brand, has been making waves in the Nepalese market with its amazing selection of automobiles, establishing its position as one of the country’s leading Automotive brands.

The MG Electric Vehicles series has gotten a remarkable reception in the Nepalese market, making it one of the most popular EV brands in the country.

The parent firm has successfully reduced the pricing of their EV offerings globally by capitalizing on the fall in EV raw material prices post-COVID and witnessing a spike in global sales. In Nepal, the recent tax increase has had very little impact on the price of the MG ZS EV (Deluxe).

The company has confirmed that customers would continue to be charged the former pricing of NPR 52.49 Lakhs for inventories imported prior to the Budget Announcement.

The new MG ZS EV (Deluxe) features a 99KW Motor Peak Power that offers 280 N.m maximum torque and a 51kwh battery capacity that provides a range of 320km (WLTP)* on a single charge and can be charged up to 80% in 30 minutes with an 8-year battery guarantee.

The MG ZS EV Comes with safety features 6 airbags, ESP, EAB, HDC, Auto hold, features premium panoramic sunroof ,10.1-inch infotainment system with DAB radio and Bluetooth, a 7-inch driver’s digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, Keyless entry and start, Six-speaker 3D sound system, Six-way driver electrical adjustable leather power seats with heating, Two ISOFIX child seat anchorage points (outer rear seats), 60/40 folding rear seats, Roof rails, Power-folding mirrors etc.

The Deluxe model will be offered in five different colors: Dover White, Cosmic Silver, Diamond Red, Pebble Black, and Como Blue.
