IME’s ‘Remittance Awareness’ walkathon on the occasion of 23rd year entry

KATHMANDU: IME Limited conducted Prabhatferi on Saturday morning to commemorate the company’s entry into its 23rd year after 22 years in business.
The program began in the company’s central office in Panipokhari, traveled via Lazimpat, Lainchaur, Uttardhoka, Nagpokhari, Durbar Marg, and returned to the central office.
Prabhatferi was organized with the goal of encouraging digital remittances and boosting awareness about the usage of formal channels when making remittances.
The morning procession was led by IME Group Chair Chandra Prasad Dhakal and Managing Director Hem Raj Dhakal, who were carrying posters with slogans such as ‘Safe remittance, safe future’ and ‘Use digital media while sending remittances’.
Deepakraj Giri and Dipa Shree Niraula, two well-known performers and IME brand ambassadors, also took part in Prabhatferi.
President Dhakal thanked all of the customers, regulatory organizations, and workers who helped make IME the firm with the most remittances during the Prabhatferi’s inauguration.
Every year on Jestha 19 (June 2), IME organizes an awareness-raising Prabhatferi to commemorate its founding day.
Since its inception, this company has been committed to bringing remittance services within the reach of every Nepali. By the 23rd year of service launch, it has earned the trust of Nepalis working abroad by covering the urban and rural areas of Nepal, including 250 IME centers in 77 districts, approximately 12,000 sub-agents and branches of banks and financial institutions.
The funds are being distributed to relatives in various parts of the country in a timely, efficient, dependable, and secure manner.
