JBBL users can withdraw cash from ATMs without needing a card

KATHMANDU: Jyoti Bikas Bank Limited (JBBL) has launched a cardless payment service, allowing customers to withdraw cash from ATMs without using a debit card.

Customers can withdraw monies conveniently and securely using the OTP code obtained through the bank’s mobile banking app and online browser.

According to the bank, it has expanded this modern banking service to bring convenience to consumers by prioritizing digital banking.

This service is accessible via the Jyoti Smart mobile banking app and the Jyoti Smart.JBBL.com.np web browser.

Customers who use the bank’s mobile banking service can withdraw cash from any of the bank’s 75 ATMs across the country.

To use this bank’s service, Jyoti Smart customers must press on the cashless virtual icon that displays after tapping on the payment icon within the app and enter the required information.

Then, proceed to a Jyoti Bikas Bank ATM and select the cardless transaction to withdraw the desired amount while keeping your mobile number, the amount to be withdrawn (chosen in the mobile banking app), and the OTP code received on your mobile.

As the use of digital banking grows, the bank has underlined the importance of safeguarding the password, PIN, OTP code, and other personal information required in the process, as well as being vigilant of financial fraud.
