KATHMANDU: e-Sewa, Nepal’s first and leading payment service provider, has created a home insurance facility in collaboration with USAID, Ready, and Shikhar Insurance to digitize and streamline the insurance procedure.
This strategy is now being executed in the Surkhet municipalities of Birendranagar and Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan Municipality of Dang.

The facility of acquiring home insurance is easily obtained under this scheme using the services mentioned under the insurance category within the e-Sewa mobile app.
According to the insurance policy, you would have to pay between 500 and 45 rupees per year in this scheme, which provides insurance coverage of up to 10 million.

To participate in this plan, the house owner must upload an image of the house, the projected price, and property details via the app. e-Sewa Care has already been introduced for clients, as well as their families and friends.
At the moment, around 70 lakh 50 thousand customers use e-Sewa’s service via Android and iOS mobile devices
