ADBL & HBL signs an agreement

KATHMANDU: Agricultural Development Bank Limited (ADBL) and Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) have reached an agreement regarding the deployment of POS service.

The agreement was signed by Govinda Gurung, Chief Executive Officer of ADBL, and Ashok Shumsher JB Rana, Chief Executive Officer of HBL.

Following the agreement, the chief executive officers of both banks stated that, following the introduction of this service, ADBL will make merchants for its business customers, debit cards and credit card carriers such as Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, and so on.

Similarly, the bank stated that it is expected to aid in the operation of the ADBL’s deposits as well as make business transactions easier.
