Dayahang Rai contracted to ‘Karsang’
The movie will be written and directed by Yam Sherpa.
KATHMANDU: Dayahang Rai, a busy actor currently, has signed on for a new movie. He has been cast in the movie ‘Karsang,’ which is being produced by Yarsa Films.
The movie will be written and directed by Yam Sherpa. Purushottam Pradhan has been roped in as cinematographer for the movie.
According to the production team, 90% of the movie will be shot in Bahrabise Municipality-6, with the remainder in Bhotekosi.
Other performers and technicians for the movie, according to director Sherpa, will be confirmed soon.
“The remaining actors for the movie will be chosen through auditions,” Sherpa explained.
He indicated that the movie will be about social issues. This is director Sherpa’s first feature movie. He has directed many short movies before.
