Siddhartha Bank’s organized tree plantation & cleanup programs on the day of World Environment Day

KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Bank Limited commemorated World Environment Day by hosting events in all seven provinces.
On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Bank celebrated by conducting various events in all seven states with the goal of assisting in the building of a clean environment.
On this day, initiatives such as cleanliness and tree planting, TikTok competition among employees, distribution of reusable cotton bags, and ‘No Print Day’ were held in several locations, with bank employees playing an important role.
Under the tree planting and cleanliness initiative, the bank planted a total of 581 plants in the country’s seven provinces, and it also coordinated sanitation programs in various public spaces.
The bank believes that such workers will make a substantial contribution to environmental protection, human health improvement, and long-term development.
Adopting the slogan “Say No to Plastic” for environmental protection, the Bank held a Tiktok contest among the employees to spread public awareness about environmental protection in the official Tiktok page of the Bank with the topic “Beat Plastic Pollution”.
Similarly, with the aim of making this slogan meaningful, the bank also distributed reusable cotton bags through its branches. In addition, the bank had also declared “No Print Day” on that day to further support environmental protection.
