Citizens Bank plants trees on ‘World Environment Day’

KATHMANDU: Citizens Bank International Limited has concluded the ‘Major tree planting’ initiative in honor of World Environment Day.
As part of its corporate social duty to combat climate change, the Bank executed a large-scale tree planting campaign in Shantinagar, Kathmandu.
On World Environment Day 2023, a mass tree plantation program in Shantinagar-9 was done in collaboration with The Revolution Project, planting over 250 different varieties of plants.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank has already supported health camps, community schools, and math temples throughout the country.
Citizens Bank International Limited currently serves its 15 lakh 72 thousand customers with 183 branches, 3 extended counters, 140 ATMs, 6 kiosk services, and 97 branchless banking facilities distributed across the country.
