NICCI celebrates Bilateral Business Meet “NICCI Day”, unveils 1st edition of NICCI Newsletter

KATHMANDU: Nepal Italy Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI), dedicated to strengthening commercial relation between Nepal and Italy, is pleased to announce the Bilateral Business Meet, NICCI Day 2023, on June 5, and the publication of the first edition of the NICCI Newsletter.

This event represents NICCI’s dedication to strengthening Nepal-Italy tourism, export-import, industry, and commercial relations.

Mr. Vincenzo De Luca, His Excellency, Italian Ambassador to Nepal, will commemorate the event by highlighting the strong relations between Italy and Nepal and emphasizing collaboration for long-term partnerships.

As per Mr. Sanjay Agrawal, President of NICCI “NICCI Day 2023 also provided an opportunity to reflect on the remarkable journey undertaken since the Chamber’s inception.” It was a time for reflection and celebration, as participants recognized their accomplishments and looked forward to the future. The program stressed the need of maintaining bilateral trade commitments, boosting innovation, and establishing strong relationships that will drive long-term growth and prosperity.”

In the meeting, Honorary Consulate General of Nepal to Italy Mrs. Pratima Rana Pandey delivered a welcome speech and congratulated Mr. Sanjay Agarawal, President of NICCI, as well as good wishes for the first edition of the newsletter.

Likewise Mr. Rajesh Kaji Shrestha Patron, expressed a welcome speech by pointing out the programs that have been successfully completed in the past as well as addressed future plans.

His Excellency, Mr. Vincenzo de Luca, the Ambassador of Italy, spoke about the future plans of Nepal and Italy as well as how to promote tourism, import, export, and industry in a more orderly manner and to promote the market of Nepali coffee, Nepali handicrafts, etc. in Italy, as well as to promote business and industry by highlighting the society of Nepali immigrants in Italy. Emphasizing on strengthening Nepal-Italy relations, he also unveiled the first edition of the magazine.
