NEPSE decreased by a normal digit

Today, the sub-indices of development banks, finance, manufacturing and processing, and microfinance have climbed, while the sub-indices of all other groups have fallen.

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has fallen general.

The NEPSE index fell 3.34 points to 1818.31 points.

On Monday, 23 lakh 41 thousand 240 shares of 266 companies were purchased and sold 20,158 times, for a total transaction value of Rs 72 crore 49 lakh 69 thousand 980.

Today, the sub-indices of development banks, finance, manufacturing and processing, and microfinance have climbed, while the sub-indices of all other groups have fallen.

The development bank group climbed by 10.55 points, the finance group by 1.11 points, the production and processing group by 22.70 points, and the microfinance group by 10.80 points.

The non-life insurance sub-index has dropped by 51.77 points, while the hotel and tourist sub-index has dropped by 16.64 points. Banking 3.70, hydropower 5.34, investment 0.06, life insurance 8.47, mutual fund 0.05, business 6.94, and other group all declined by 7.45 points.

The share price of Nepal Investment Bank Growth Fund has increased the most today, by 9.88 percent, while the share price of Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited has decreased the most, by 6.45 percent.

The maximum shares of NIC Asia Bank Limited worth Rs 3 crore 4 lakh 67 thousand were bought and sold today, according to the transaction amount. The most shares of Prabhu Bank Limited were bought and sold based on the number of shares exchanged.
