Prime Minister’s official twitter handle restored

KATHMANDU: The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers’ Twitter account, ‘PM Nepal,’ has been reactivated.

According to the Prime Minister’s office, the Twitter handle was entered in an unauthorized manner on Wednesday evening, and unrelated things were tweeted.

Prakash Rayamajhi, a Prime Minister’s Office information technology expert, stated that even though all security measures, including “two-factor authentication,” have been implemented in the Twitter handle, the investigation into the incident of unauthorized access is still ongoing.

He stated that the facts will be made public soon.
