Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit’s mother passes away at 91
The last rites will be held at the Worli crematorium on Sunday at around 3:00 p.m.
KATHMANDU: Indian Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene’s mother Snehlata Dixit passed away on March 12 (today) at the age of 91.
According to the Indian Media, the final rites will take place at the Worli crematorium on Sunday around 3 p.m.
The actress and her family were devastated to learn of Snehlata’s untimely death.
The last rites will be held at the Worli crematorium on Sunday at around 3:00 p.m.
Madhuri and her doctor husband Shriram Nene made a joint statement about the tragic news.
Their statement read, “Our beloved Aai, Snehalata Dikshit, passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her loved ones.” Madhuri was very close to her mother and frequently expressed her affection for her mother in media interviews. Last June, on her late mother’s birthday, the Devdas actress shared throwback photos with her dear mother Snehlata, along with a heartfelt note. “Happy Birthday, Aai!” read her birthday post. A mother is said to be a daughter’s best friend. They couldn’t be more correct. The lessons you’ve taught me have been the most valuable gift you’ve given me out of everything you’ve done for me. I wish you nothing but good health and happiness.”
The cause of her death is yet to be revealed.
