Glass ‘Sky Walk’ to be built in Bhedetar with an investment of 30 crores

KATHMANDU: A glass ‘sky walk’ is going to be made in Bhedetar.
The project, which is being built on a public-private partnership model, is expected to cost 30 crore rupees when completed.
This project is being built by Wonders Amusement Parks and Attractions Pvt Ltd, which is part of the Wonders Group. The foundation work has now been completed, according to the company’s chair, Prabindra Pokhrel.
The Sky Walk will be 50 meters long and built in the shape of a cantilever tower. The sky walk can accommodate 200 people at once. Pokhrel claims that being at the bottom of the glass sky walk will enhance the ‘thrilling’ experience.
Damodar Sharma, the company’s director, stated that the construction of this project, which has begun near the current Bhedetar view tower, is scheduled to be completed in 2023.
The project is located on the border of Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality Dhankuta and Sunsari Sub-Metropolitan City of Dharan.
Sharma stated that the State Investment Authority has granted permission for the project to be carried out for a period of 25 years.
The ‘Sky Walk Tower’ currently under construction at Kamaladi in Kathmandu and the sky walk named ‘Kanyam Cloud’ which has been constructed and operational in Kanyam of Ilam have also been built by Wonders Group.
