Prachanda preparing to ride a “hydrogen vehicle,” as suggested by Kulman

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as Prachanda, has stated that he is planning to ride in a hydrogen car.
During the inauguration of the Solukhola-Doodhkoshi hydropower project, he stated that the best opportunity to produce green hydrogen from renewable energy has arrived, and he is also planning to ride in a hydrogen vehicle.
‘He told me that as the prime minister, I have to ride a hydrogen car instead of a diesel and petrol car,’ he said at the event, where Kulman Ghising, executive director of the authority, was also present.
He stated that the Prime Minister’s Office is debating whether he should ride in a hydrogen vehicle. ‘I’m getting ready to ride in a hydrogen car. So we’ve started talking about transitioning from green energy to green hydrogen to produce fertilizer for farmers,’ he explained.
