Pedestrian dies in tipper hit

KATHMANDU: A 55-year-old pedestrian woman, whose name, surname, and nationality were not disclosed, was killed after being hit by a tipper numbered Madhesh State-01-001 a 0252 on the road in Siraha, Mirchaiya Municipality-1 on Tuesday morning.

She was seriously injured in the collision and died while being treated at Siraha’s State Hospital.

Police have detained both the tipper and the driver.
