14-year-old child dies in house fire
The body of Bandana, who died in the fire, has been kept at the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital for autopsy.
KATHMANDU: A 14-year-old girl died in a house fire in Jumla.
A 14-year-old Lok Bahadur Bhandari daughter Bandana died in a fire at the Chandannath Municipality-1 Thinke.
According to Police Inspector Dharmaraj Joshi of District Police Office Jumla, the three-storey house was completely damaged in the fire that broke out at around 10:30 last night.
Seven people including a girl were sleeping in the house.
After the fire, the others ran out of the house but the deceased child could not get out as she was on the third floor, the police said.
The body of Bandana, who died in the fire, has been kept at the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital for autopsy.
