Constable Kavindra committed suicide, shot himself
26-year-old Kavindra BK, who was working in the Karnali police force, committed suicide by shooting himself with an SLR.
SURKHET: A Karnali police constable has committed suicide by shooting himself in the Temple (latch where four skull bones fuse: the frontal, parietal, temporal, and sphenoid).
Jharna Sunar, a police inspector with the District Police Office Surkhet, reported that at 2:56 a.m. on Thursday, 26-year-old Kavindra BK, who was working in the Karnali police force, committed suicide by shooting himself with an SLR.
BK, who lives in Darchula’s Api Municipality-6 and is stationed at Sukatiya Kalikot Police Station, was assigned to Police Post No. 4 from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Similarly, according to him, a police team of 8 members under the command of Police Inspector Milan Pandey has been deployed from District Police Office Surkhet for further investigation of the incident and now the body has been taken to the hospital for autopsy.
