Woman dies in scooter hit

KATHMANDU: Behemia Rishidev, a 70-year-old Sunsari resident, died on Monday evening after being hit by a scooter with the license plate number 21 P 5626 in Sonapur Chowk, Duhabi Municipality-8.

She was seriously injured in a scooter accident on Jan 8, but she was being treated at Birat Teaching Hospital Biratnagar, but she was unable to be treated and was taken home.

She passed away yesterday evening. The police have detained both the scooter and the driver.
