Bara police nabbed absconding 332 fugitive defendants

KATHMANDU: District Police Office Bara apprehended 332 fugitive defendants found guilty on various charges and brought them before the court on the same day.
Those on the fugitive list were arrested and brought under the scope of legal action during the implementation of the district court’s judgment.
According to the police, 332 absconding defendants were arrested in various cases on Monday alone as part of the absconding defendants arrest campaign.
DSP Rajesh Thapa, Bara Police Spokesperson, stated that the defendants were apprehended in various parts of the district and taken to the District Court Bara for further action.
The fugitive defendants were apprehended after the court sentenced them to imprisonment and fines for fleeing the scope of the action.
