DIG Pokharel appointed as police spokesperson

KATHMANDU: Posharaj Pokharel, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), has been appointed as Nepal Police’s Central Spokesperson.

Inspector General of Police Dhiraj Pratap Singh delegated the role of Central Spokesperson to Deputy Inspector General of Police Pokharel, who works in the Inspector General’s Secretariat.

According to the Police Headquarters, Deputy Inspector General of Police Pokharel has been appointed as Central Police Spokesperson after the previous spokesperson, Tek Prasad Rai, was transferred to Lumbini Province Police Office Tulsipur Dang.
