‘Maujang Babusaheb’s Coat’ being staged in Shailee Theatre (photos included)

KATHMANDU: The play ‘Maujang Babusaheb’s Coat’ is currently being performed at Ratopul’s Shailee Theatre.
Sabin Neupane adapted the story ‘Maujang Babusahebko Coat’ by Bhawani Bhikshu, a well-known storyteller.
The psychology of Rana Babusaheb, a farmer, is included in the story after the establishment of democracy in 2007.
In the story, the monk has revealed Babusaheb’s family psychology through the overcoat given to him by a Rana special person during the Rana rule.

The play, which debuted as a ‘press show’ on Jan 22, will be performed every day except Thursday until Feb 8 at 5 p.m. A second show will be performed at 1 p.m. on Saturday, according to the theatre.
