POKHARA: Yeti Airlines’ 9N ANC ATR 72, which was flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara with 72 people on board (68 passengers and four crew members), crashed in Pokhara.

The passengers involved in the crash are being rescued. 16 bodies have been recovered so far.

Preparations are underway to rescue some passengers and transport them to a hospital.

According to police, they will be taken to various hospitals in Pokhara for treatment, and the situation is complicated.

The Army, Armed Police, and Nepal Police are rescuing people from the crash site.

The airport and the metropolitan fire department are attempting to extinguish the fire on the plane that caught fire near Pokhara Airport.
