KATHMANDU: Prakash Man Singh, a Nepali Congress leader and newly elected member of the House of Representatives, has stated that it is time to rise above selfishness and serve the country and the people.

He insisted that he will play a necessary role in moving the country along with the promises he made during the election and the problems of the people.
He said that people should work according to the expectations of the people for the next five years, saying that the people were disappointed when the mandate given by the people was ignored.
The election officer’s office has issued certificates to members of the House of Representatives and State Assembly elected from Kathmandu Constituency No. 1.
