Prachanda’s wife Sita Dahal admitted to ICU
Sita has been admitted to Mediciti Hospital's ICU as an emergency, according to Shrestha.
KATHMANDU: Sita Dahal, wife of CPN-Maoist Centre Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has been admitted to the intensive care unit of Medicity Hospital, Lalitpur.
Speaking at an election program in the capital on Wednesday, party vice chairperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha stated that chairperson Prachanda was unable to attend due to Sita Dahal’s illness. Sita has been admitted to Mediciti Hospital’s ICU as an emergency, according to Shrestha.
‘Our party’s central adviser, Comrade Sita Dahal, had an emergency and had to be taken to the hospital shortly before arriving here. She is now in the intensive care unit at Mediciti Hospital.’ While informing, Shrestha said. Sita is also the Maoist Centre’s central adviser.
Sita has had PSP, a progressive supranuclear palsy with Parkinsonian symptoms, for a long time. Sita, who also had diabetes and high blood pressure, became ill after the death of her son Prakash Dahal.
Sindhuli’s program has been postponed as his wife Sita is being treated in the ICU, so he will be busy with programs centered on the capital today.
