15th ECAN Fair concludes with over 5,000 attendees
The fair featured stalls from 22 different companies.
KATHMANDU: The 15th ECAN Educational Fair, organized by the Nepal Educational Consultancy Association (ECAN), has successfully concluded today at the Everest Hotel in New Baneshwor.
Targeting students and parents interested in pursuing higher education abroad, the event attracted over 5,000 visitors seeking guidance and consultations, according to ECAN officials.
Chair Sheshraj Bhattrai stated, “Despite disruptions caused by floods and landslides in many areas, there was significant participation from students and parents at the fair. Students gathered comprehensive information regarding international education.”
This fair marked the first physical event post-COVID-19, contributing to the enthusiastic attendance of students, he added. The fair featured representatives from various educational consultancy firms, universities, and colleges from different countries, allowing students to engage in direct interactions with these representatives.
Fair Coordinator Geeta Siwakotli mentioned that the event was organized three days later than scheduled due to the impacts of the floods and landslides but still witnessed noteworthy student participation.
The event was managed by One Up Media Pvt. Ltd., with Real Dreams Educational Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. as the main sponsor.
Other sponsors included KIEC Pvt. Ltd., Orbit International Education Pvt. Ltd., Nobel Education Pvt. Ltd., WRAI Education, RightPath, Seneca, Kangaroo Education Foundation, Elite Movers, Vira Education, and Grace Education Pvt. Ltd.
