KATHMANDU: Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prime Minister and President of the Nepali Congress, has stated Nepal is saved from becoming Sri Lanka.

Prime Minister Deuba stated at a meeting in Lalitpur as part of the ruling coalition party’s election mobilization campaign that Nepal is now at a critical juncture. The country is in crisis due to COVID and dengue infection, and there is also a financial problem.

He claims to have saved Nepal from economic failure as a result of the global economic downturn. He stated that numerous development opportunities are emerging in Nepal.

He stated that because Nepal’s electricity is purchased by load, it is clear that the country can benefit from the sale of Nepal’s electricity.

He stated that Nepal is currently in a transition period, which is causing political problems. He claimed that despite KP Oli’s attempts to dissolve Parliament twice by waking up the President at 2 a.m., they saved.
