Despite continuous rain UML registered nomination in Surkhet

SURKHET: Amid continuous rain since Wednesday, the parties have started nomination registration in Surkhet. On Sunday, the parties started nomination registration amid the rain.

Candidates are registering their nominations for the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections at the Election Commission office in Surkhet Constituency No. 1.

CPN-UML Standing Committee Member and Karnali Province In-Charge Yamlal Kandel has registered a nomination for State Assembly Member. After going to the Chief Election Officer’s office, Kandel registered his nomination as a member of the state assembly from Surkhet area No. 2 (A).

Amrit BC as a member of the House of Representatives from Surkhet Constituency No. 2 and Tarakeshar Gautam in the State Assembly 2 (B) have also filed their nominations.

Similarly, Padam Bam has filed an independent candidacy in the 2nd (A) State Assembly. Bam is also the former YCL district chairperson.
