Advance ticket booking for Dashain opened (with fare list)
According to businessmen, tickets can be purchased online. However, not all locations and bus companies can be booked online.
KATHMANDU: Advance ticket bookings for long and medium-distance passenger buses began today, with festivals such as Dasain-Tihar in mind. The National Federation of Transport Professionals reports that advance ticket booking is now available.
On Sept 7, the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Transport Management Department, Road Department, Traffic Department, and transportation professionals agreed to book advance tickets for the festival beginning Sept 17.
In the new bus park, a separate ticket counter has been set up for advance booking in areas where there are many vehicles, while it is managed from the existing counter in areas where there are few vehicles.
