KATHMANDU: The suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana did not sign the statement given by himself before the High Impeachment Recommendation Committee.

JB Rana, who went to the impeachment recommendation committee to give a statement, refused to sign after hearing the details of his statement, and the committee’s proceedings were delayed.

According to Min Bishwakarma, a committee member, JB Rana initially stated that he would sign the last page because he couldn’t read everything, but he refused when he was allowed to sign.

After he refused to sign, Bishwakarma informed him that the work to read the lecture was completed.

“All I have said is a statement, and I will sign one page at the end, it is huge, I can’t even read a copy of nearly two hundred pages at home,” Bishwakarma said. He stated that I will not sign the paper if it is not completed correctly in the meeting.

The committee meeting has been postponed for 45 minutes.
