KATHMANDU: Suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana has begun to sign the General Prosecution Recommendation Committee’s statement. The signing of the 174-page statement has begun.

According to one committee member, signing will take more than 7 hours. The preparation for asking supplementary questions has been postponed at the request of the CPN-UML.

JB Rana was about to ask additional questions when UML MPs interrupted him.

Initially, the UML MPs demanded that the committee sign the records contained in Cholendra’s previous statement.

As a result, after deferring preparations for asking counter-questions, the General Prosecution Recommendation Committee began to persuade JB Rana to sign the previous statement.
