POKHARA: Seat distribution among the ruling parties for the November 4 House of Representatives and State Assembly elections continues.

So far, the Nepali Congress has received the maximum number of ten seats in Gandaki State through unanimous distribution.

The Maoists have three seats, while the Jana Morcha and CPN (Unified Socialist) have one each. There is still no agreement on three seats.

Gorkha 1, Nawalpur 2, and Kaski 3 are all claimed by multiple parties. Maoists and Congress claim Gorkha 1, while Maoists, Congress, and United Socialists claim Nawalpur 2. Similarly, the Maoists and the Congress have claims in Kaski 3.

Manang, Mustang, Parbat and Myagdi including Kaski-1, both of Tanahun and Syangja Nawalpur 1 Congress got. Baglung 2, Gorkha 2, and Lamjung were captured by the Maoists.

CPN (Unified Socialist) has been assigned Kaski 2 and Janamorcha has been assigned Baglung 1. According to the ruling parties, the remaining seats will be decided within a few days.

With the distribution of seats, the debate over who will run in that election has begun. The parties have gathered the names of potential candidates from all regions. However, due to the alliance, the relevant seat must be vacated, so candidates may be sent to other areas as well. However, based on the names proposed thus far, Congress is expected to field Tek Bahadur Gurung in Manang, Romi Gauchan in Mustang, Arjun Joshi in Parbat, and Kham Bahadur Garbuja (Khambir) in Myagdi.

Tickets can be given to one of Ram Chandra Poudel from Tanahun 1, Pradeep Poudel or Shankar Bhandari from 2, Dr Shashank Koirala from Nawalpur 1, Raju Thapa or Dhanraj Gurung from Syangja 1, Bhagwat Prakash Malla or Gopalman Shrestha from Syangja 2 and Yagya Bahadur Thapa or Krishna Bahadur KC from Kaski 1 can give.

t is understood that Baburam Bhattarai can contest in Gorkha 2, which was won by the Maoists, while Devendra Poudel will contest in Baglung 2 and Devprasad Gurung in Lamjung.

Tul Bahadur Gurung and Madan Acharya from Kaski 2 may represent CPN (Unified Socialist).

However, according to the leaders, there is a chance that candidates will come from other areas as well. According to reports, the Jana Morcha will field Baglung 1’s Chitra Bahadur KC. Candidates may, however, differ.
