KATHMANDU: The government has decided to dismiss the cases against the leaders and activists of the Biplav-led Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

Prakanda, a party spokesperson, issued a press release claiming that the case was dismissed by the Council of Ministers on Sept 12.

The Council of Ministers meeting on the evening of the 27th Bhadra 2079 (12 Sept 2022) decided to resolve administrative and semi-judicial cases as soon as possible by making a political decision from the meeting of the Ministers, and in the case of cases that conflict with the law, the legal system or the law shall be amended to dismiss the case.
