Three school-bound children missing

KATHMANDU: Three school-bound children have gone missing in Butwal.

Relatives shared that 14-year-old Sagar Poudel, 15-year-old Pradeep Panthi and 16-year-old Samir Lamsal of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan-11, New Darganagar have disappeared since last Friday.

As informed, Lamsal and Poudel are the ninth grader students of Nabin Industrial Kadar Bahadur Secondary School at Butwal-11, Devinagar and Panthi is the eighth grader in Naharpur Secondary School.

Their relatives lodged applications at the Area Police Office Butwal when the children bound to school on Friday did not come to contact.

Headteacher of the Nabin Secondary School, Prem Bahadur Basnet informed that the students did not turn up to the school on Friday and both the students were medium in educational engagement.

Chief of Area Police Office Butwal DSP Thag Bahadur KC said a search of the missing children was underway.
