Comedian Apoorva Singh released on bail

KATHMANDU: Apoorva Kshitij Singh, a comedian who was arrested on charges of hurting community sentiments, has been released on bail.

Singh has been released for treatment after tested positive for COVID-19. Teku informed that he had been released from the district police complex and would return after his recovery.

Apoorva, who was detained in Teku, fell ill and was taken to Bir Hospital for treatment last Tuesday.
