KATHMANDU: Dr. Shashank Koirala, leader of the Nepali Congress, has stated that federal and state seats should be distributed based on the results of local elections.

He told reporters in Chitwan on Friday that seats should be distributed based on the truth.

“The seats should be divided based on indications and truth in local body elections,” he said. He predicted that Congress would receive 95 to 100 seats.

He stated that the alliance’s members should also prepare for this. He stated that there is no alternative to the alliance and that the alliance’s parties will reach an agreement.

He also asked general leaders and workers to participate in the election-targeted program, despite the fact that Congress was defeated in the election.
