Bancharedanda Tense: One arrested

KATHMANDU: Due to continuous obstruction by locals, police have been mobilized in Bancharedanda to manage Kathmandu’s garbage.

Even today, there was a clash between locals and police when they attempted to remove the garbage truck amid local protests.

At the same time, one person who was obstructing waste management was arrested, according to the police.

Local Dipesh Karki is among those detained, according to police.

Yesterday, when there was a dispute over waste management, the police used five rounds of aerial fire, injuring some locals.
